Bacan is a relatively new and unique codominant morph originating from Indonesia, prized for its golden colour and subtle, diffuse, chain-like pattern, as well as how it interacts with other genes. Its ‘Super Bacan’ form, known as ‘Emeraldo’, produces beautiful, light golden-greenish snakes with a heavily reduced pattern. The Bacan gene produces interesting colour patterns as early as the first generation! Contrasting colours that will intensify with age!
