▼ Your first reptile — where did you start?

What was your first reptile, and how long has it been since you bought it? Would you choose the same species today? What was the biggest surprise, and looking back, what would you do differently? Please share your experiences — I’m particularly interested in what you’d say to someone who’s just getting ready to buy their first reptile. 🦎
